Aspiring African 3D animators and digital artists, here’s your chance to showcase your talent to the world! “As Above, So Below”<\/strong> is a thrilling international digital art competition<\/strong><\/a> brought to you by O Kingdom Come<\/strong>, in partnership with Comic Con Ibadan<\/strong><\/a> and CGAfrica<\/strong>. This is an epic opportunity for both 3D animators and comic artists to display their creativity and potentially win from a prize pool of $1,500<\/strong>!<\/p>\n

Who\u2019s Behind the Competition?<\/h2>\n

The challenge is powered by O Kingdom Come<\/strong>, a renowned Pan-African comic studio whose graphic novel, also titled “O Kingdom Come”<\/strong>, has made waves internationally. This 120-page graphic novel<\/strong> narrates the dramatic fall of the Nubian empire and the intense struggles between kings and kingdoms. The comic was recently recognized as the Best Indie Comic Book of 2023<\/strong> by Comic Book Resources<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

To enter this digital art contest<\/strong>, participants must create an original artwork inspired by a scene from the O Kingdom Come<\/strong> comic book. You\u2019re encouraged to interpret the comic in your own unique style! Use the comic\u2019s themes of battles and ancient kingdoms to fuel your creativity.<\/p>\n
